Repeat Prescriptions

PLEASE ORDER YOUR REPEAT MEDICATION 7-10 DAYS PRIOR TO RUNNING OUT

The time it takes to prepare your prescription allows the doctor adequate time to check your request and review your medication where appropriate. we believe this system ensures a high standard of care.

If your long-term medication has been approved on a repeat prescription basis you can re-order in a number of ways:

  • By telephone - call 0121 270 0015 between 10:30 and 17:00 Monday - Friday
  • By hand - leave your repeat slip or a written request in the box provided at reception.
  • By post - enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • Online - by following the link at the top of this page and completing a simple registration.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS take 48 hours and are processed Monday - Friday not including weekends and bank holidays

NEW MEDICATION can take over 48 hours and is processed Monday - Friday not including weekends and bank holidays

Prescriptions will not be faxed to the pharmacies

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
